NOVEMBER'S MISSION EMPHASIS IS THE COOPERATIVE FEEDING PROGRAM...  Gloria Dei's Mission Emphasis for November, 2008, is the Cooperative Feeding Program located at 1 NW 33rd Ter., Ft. Lauderdale. The Cooperative Feeding Program is a full service program to help homeless and hungry people in Broward County. Gloria Dei has supported this program for many years. All non-designated "Missions" gifts in November will be directed to the Cooperative Feeding Program. You may share your "Missions" gifts to them at any time, by writing "Coop. Feeding Program." near your "Missions" box on your offering envelope, and indicating the amount.

 

CHURCH AND ACADEMY WORK DAY, SAT., NOV. 22, 9am-2pm We have a number of projects that need to be accomplished. Will you come and share a few hours with your church or school? Friday, Nov. 21, 5:00-8:30pm, Gloria Dei Academy Art students, in conjunction with Gloria Dei Church volunteers will offer you a hand made bowl and soup (and rolls) for only $10. The best part is that ALL OF THE PROCEEDS go to feed hungry people at the Cooperative Feeding Program. Note: Gloria Dei's family fun night also takes place that evening, the Veggie Tales movie: "The Pirates that don't do Anything" begins at 6:30pm in the worship area for anyone who wants to stay.
